Basis for assessment These are the steps for facial rejuvenation acupuncture in skin and beauty care. After going through them in order, you book your next appointment and head home.
Treatment uses physical therapy, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, Chuna manual therapy, moxibustion, and cupping, and is changed at each visit according to where the pain has shifted.
Moxibustion and cupping are included among the items covered by auto insurance. Conditions that existed before the accident, or symptoms with no causal link, may be hard to cover, so a consultation is needed at your visit.
Cupping marks can appear because the pressure pulling on the skin causes bleeding from the small vessels beneath it; they are not taken as a sign that waste has been drawn out of the body. The color and depth alone also cannot tell how severe a condition is or how well treatment is working. Most marks fade with time, but this differs with skin condition and the strength of the stimulation, so please let the clinic know if a mark keeps darkening or comes with pain, heat, or blisters.
Dry cupping draws the skin with the pressure inside the cup without cutting the skin. Wet cupping applies the cup after making fine stimulation on the skin, so a small amount of bleeding occurs, which means the skin condition and the bleeding risk need closer review. Which of the two is used is decided after checking the treatment area, your current condition, and the medicines you take, and it is not done the same way for everyone.
If the area to be treated has a wound, an infection, or a severe skin condition, or if you bleed or bruise easily, please tell us first. If you are taking medication that affects blood clotting, or if you had blisters or a severe skin reaction after previous cupping, we need to check that as well. In such cases cupping may be postponed or the method and area changed, so please do not judge on your own that it is fine — talk with us before the procedure.

Because of the pressure pulling on the skin, bleeding can occur in small blood vessels beneath the skin and leave marks. Most fade over time, though this varies from person to person; if they keep getting darker or come with pain, warmth, or blisters, please let the clinic know.
Dry cupping pulls the skin with suction without cutting it, while wet cupping applies cupping after making tiny pricks in the skin, which causes a small amount of bleeding. Whether to perform it is decided after checking skin condition, bleeding risk, and medications.
